Marishka S. Phillips

Marishka is a native New Yorker, Brooklyn born. She started performing at the age of 8. She landed on Broadway at the age of 19. Besides her long standing career, she is a 17 year Acting Coach. She has worked with Kerry Washington, Taja V. Simpson, Nicole Beharie, Nafessa Williams, Sawanda Wilson, LaChanze, Terri J. Vaughn, Shaquita Smith, Deborah Cox, Rob Morgan, Tasha Smith, Tami Roman, Gail Bean, Elia Cantu and Celia Rose Gooding to name a few. Taja V. Simpson is an actor, director, keynote speaker, best-selling author and entrepreneur. Perhaps best known for playing Priscilla Owen in BET's #1 scripted cable drama, Tyler Perry's "THE OVAL”. Other notable roles are NBC's Found, HBO's Insecure, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, Hightown, A House Divided, That Girl Lay Lay, NCIS: LA, Lethal Weapon & All-American. As a 4x award-winning actor, she has over 20 years of experience in acting with more than 60 credits in TV and film.
